Helpers for building UIs, converting values, and working with the schema.

For UIs


`editorFor(def, operator, fields)`	The `EditorSpec` a rule needs: `type`, `arity`, `options` (flattened trees with `depth`), `allowsRef`, `async`.
`fieldOptions(fields)`	Pickable fields: `{ value, label, group?, description?, isArray }`; hidden fields left out.
`operatorOptions(def, fields)`	`{ value, label }` for a field's operators.
`refOptions(fields, field)`	Fields a rule may compare against (same kind, comparable).
`functionOptions(fields, kind?)`	Registered functions, optionally by return kind.
`countOptions(labels?)`	The count comparisons for array groups.
`defaultCall(fields, name)`	A function call with each argument at its default.
`parseInput(def, raw)` / `formatInput(value)`	Between an input's string and a typed value.
`parseList(def, raw)` / `formatList(value)`	Between a comma-separated string and a list.
`optionValues(def)`	Every selectable option value, flattened.
`CLASS`, `DEFAULT_LABELS`	The default builders' class names and strings.
`createDnd(store)`, `dropIndexFromPointer(rect, y, index)`	The framework-free drag-and-drop state machine the bindings use.

Values and rules


`makeRule(fields, partial?)`	A complete rule with the schema's defaults.
`changeField(fields, rule, field, options?)`	A rule moved to another field, keeping what still fits.
`changeOperator(fields, rule, op, options?)`	A rule with its value reshaped for a new operator.
`coerceValue(fields, def, op, value)`	Reshape a value for an operator's arity.
`isGroup`, `isRule`, `isLiteralRule`, `fieldName`	Type guards and helpers.

Schema


`fieldLabel(name, def)`	The label, or the humanized key.
`columnOf(fields, name)`	The name exporters use.
`flattenOptions(options, leafOnly?)`	Tree options as a flat list.
`elementFields(fields, arrayField)`	The element schema of an array field.
`leftDef(fields, field)` / `ruleDef(fields, rule)`	The schema of a rule's left side (a field, or a function's return).
`operatorInfo(fields, id)`	A built-in or custom operator's metadata.
`functionOf(fields, call)`, `evaluateOperand(…)`	Look up and run functions.
`registryOf(fields)`	The custom operators, functions and messages attached by `defineFields`.
`fieldsToJSON`, `fieldsFromJSON`	Serialize a schema.
`getPath(row, path)`	The default row reader: plain keys, then dotted paths.
